Experimenting with materials and designs for gift packaging
After playing arounnd with some sketches i flet it would e important to think about th ephysicaly structure of the gift packging. During this prociess i looked on pinterest and i found a range of different net examples which could use to help build my gift pakcaging. Below shows three of my different favourites, i liked these particulalr three as i feel they could really develop in a way that i would love and still help commuicate my product. I also like that the majority have a hexagon shape icluded as this is something i have included throughout icluding in my jar an pattern.
I really like this net as i feelt it has a very different format, my only concern would be how the product sit within.
The second box i also like and feelit is rather tradtitional with a good easy handle for movement within the customer. The only thing is it does not include any hexagon elements however, this could be added within shapes windows.
The final net i fpund i loved had a hexagonal based shapes that opened from the top, i like how ti looks from the outside. However, i want my gift packaging to include windows so the products ca be seen however, due to the shape i dont feel the product will sit as eaily.
Finally i created my fvaourite design, i sticjed t th esimple box shape with hexagonal window details and hardwearing handle. I chose to go with this desing as i wante them design the focus around the jars and the products and therefore included a more simplistic form. I also decided to physcilly build this piece using recycled cardboard. I liked how he base structure turned out and feel it would sit with my products really well. I like the overall siz and feel ti would work as a good present.
Moving forward i want to think about the graphics that sit on top of this thiking about the overall final look.
