Card information design and idea

After producing the final products and overall mockups I felt like something was missing from the customer experience. Originally when thinking about my design i remebered as part of the inital idea i wanted to create smaller infomration cards that would give some infomartion regarding the mission of the brand and ways that customer could reuse our pakcaging.

Below shows the firts card i created itn hich would go in the gift set to show the customer how they could be using the packaging once it is finished. As part of the brief it was important to think about th ematerials used and how they couod be repurposed. I knew i wanted to use glass for the honey, this is a traditional material to keep the honey fresh. Glass is a sustainable option as it can be recled and reused however, it is important we think about the reuse as there is alot f energy required to make glass in the first place. That is wy i wanted to create information cards for the customers so they can see step by steps guides on ways to repourse the product packaging.

As for the design of the car di kept with the original pattern and colouway to keep consitency throughout the brand something that i feel is important for customer to begin the recognise what theyre looking at. As for the informaton i included an illustrated step by step guide for how to use the jar t create a candle. I was happy with this first card and feel overall it looks really effective and just adds that extra soemthing for the customer experience.

As for the back of the card i wanted to fill the space and yet still create an important message. That is why i felt there would be nothing better than including the mission behind the brand and the reason for the usstubility and the importanc behind the overall message. I also included a smaller Qr code that when scanned would take the customer to the website where they would e able to find out even more infomration.

As for the material tht i wanted to use for the printing. I knew i wanted to keep to that sustainbility therefore i carrie don with usesing th wildflower seed paper which when done ca be discarded by being planted into the soil. Once beginning to grow wildflowers will bloom and therefore bring bees to your garden and help the regrowth of bee population. As for the ink used i would make sure to use natural inks to make sure no toxic chemicals would pass within the soil and harm any wildlife.

Above shows a mockup printing on to the seeded paper and cut out onto an A6 size card which would be included in the gifsrt of different flavours. Overall i am really happy iwth how it all turjned out and feel it just adds to the completion of the set.
