Graphic designer Research - Lucy Jenn

Lucy Jenn is an english illustrator based in London. I came across Lucy Jenn's work whislt looking for some inspiration on pinterest regarding branding and felt Jenn's work was a great example of a range of different style and used to create different branding for different products and companies. 

Branding Work

Here shows some of her branding work that she inclduded in her portfolio on her website. I really like how they all look different yet still show jenn' style throughout. Something tht particulalry stood out to me when looking was jenn's use of colour, all are particulalry bright and eyecatching and would defiently oull me in as a customer. 

This was a particular favourite of mine, for some branding which she created for herself as pat of the name 'juicy lucy'. I really like how she played around witht he composition as she used nutrition label to set out her information and socials, this has a really unique look and adds a very fun element to that juice product. I also liek in the background you can see the opposite sides in which she created a range of  different illustrations all sticking to a colourtone keeping it monochrome and therefore really making the linework of the illustrations stnad out as seen below. 

Product Design

Aswell as branding for companies Lucy Jenn has also done a rnage of branding  for products showing a few exmaplels below. I love how she uses typogrpahy as a main focus within her work it creates a a focus and add chrcaterisitic to the product. My particular favoruite is the Cherry glaze. I really love the colour platte used and the retro type which as been combined with the cherry illustratins to add that fun feel. 

Again you cam reallys ee lucy jenns used of colour an style within these products and feel overall it is rather effective and would look great against other comeptitior brands for the products.

Overall, looking at Lucy Jenns's work was really inspiring it allowed me to see how she used typograpahy to create a really succseful piece of branding which would bring in a customer base. I will definetly enjoy looking back at her work for inspiration when it comes to creating my own branding.
